Ralph Dahle, Harrisbug (Guitar,) has been a fixture in the local folk music scene for many years. He is the erstwhile host of many Susquehanna Folk Music Society events such as coffeehouse and jams. You may have seen him performing with the former trio, Over and Out, with Alex and Me or on his own at various folk events. Ralph is also an accomplished song-writer and the band plays several of his songs.
Jim Richardson, Harrisburg, (Ukulele) has also been around the folk scene for many years. He was also a member of Over and Out and appears with the tropical band Howard and the Islanders. Fourteen years singing lead with the Keystone Capital (Barbershop) Chorus helped Jim hone his singing and harmonizing skills. He is also a member of his church choir and a contemporay singing group and he is treasurer for the Susquehanna Folk Music Society.
Ed Rech, Camp Hill, (autoharp) is the third member of the former Over and Out trio. Ed also has played with a bluegrass group known as The Sesame Street Bluegrass Gang. Ed also plays guitar and Dobro.
Bill Frederick, Harrisburg (Harmonica) has a mostly blues background. Bill played with Krypton City for a time and has also sat in with other blues bands around the area. He's a self-taught harmonica player. Bill decided to make the jump to folky styles basically to help him expand his musical horizons.
Annette Nicolai, Harrisburg, is a classically trained musician who has sung with Opera Pacific in California. She sat in with the band, just for fun one day, and was later invited to join. She brings a great voice and a good formal knowledge of music to the group.
Tom Washic, Harrisburg, is the most recent addition. He filled in for Ralph while Ralph was away and did such a good job that we are working him into the band in a more permanent way. Tom plays guitar and bass and sings.
